This unique device is used for measuring O-rings up to an 8 in ID. The base of the cone has slots for determining the cross section of the O-ring. Then simply drop the O-ring over the cone and read the size number above the O-ring. The cone will measure O-rings from 1/4 to 3 in ID. For O-rings 3 to 8 in ID simply place the coiled tape inside the O-ring to be measured and let it expand firmly. Read the size numbers that correspond to industry AS568 standard sizes.
